Filename Extension After every filename there is a three or four letter code which is known as a filename extension. Looking at a filename extension will enable you to know what type of file you are looking at (seeing a .xls file means that it is an excel file).
Firewall Protection of your computer from attacks via the internet is done by a firewall. Usually firewalls are either a combination of software and hardware or are just software.
